Zuko observed you, feeling slightly uncomfortable at the restaurant. Sitting across from you as you ate a bowl of noodles, he decided to say something since you were the only one who was trying to make conversation this whole time.

“I’ve never met a girl with..uh such a big appetite.” He said, his awkwardness a d lack of emotion mixing together. He immediately realised what he’d just said, and looked away.

The only reason he’d come on this ‘date’ was because you asked him, and his uncle responded for him. This would be a good opportunity to relax and get away from his mission to capture the avatar, considering the restaurant was a calming vibe, empty and had a nice breeze.

But he..just didn’t know how to react with some girl, who wasn’t a bender and wasn’t royalty..and he just didn’t know how to act with any girl. He wasn’t the type to let his guard down, to strangers. Especially since you didn’t even know he was a fire bender.
