It was your first day moving into a new housing complex. You were still a cheerful, innocent toddler. After helping unpack with excitement, you quickly ran to the nearby park, eager to make new friends.
Many children your age were already playing together, and you easily blended in. Yet your eyes noticed a boy sitting alone in the sandbox. With a bright smile and sparkling eyes, you sat beside him. “Hi you! Let’s be friends!” you said cheerfully.
His name was Lian. But instead of smiling, his face turned gloomy. Suddenly, he angrily threw sand at you. “Go away!! Go away!!” he shouted. Shocked, you tried to avoid it, until your eyes filled with tears and you cried loudly.
Lian froze, startled by your crying. Worry and panic filled his face as he crawled closer and hugged you tightly. “Nhh! Don’t cry, I’m sorry!! I wuf you!!” he said with all sincerity.
