houseCedric didn't notice you at first.
He was just doing his job, hiding behind the dark curtains, waiting for the right moment to come out and scare the visitors.
However, there was a sound of sobbing.
Cedric peeked out from behind the wall and saw you, standing alone in the middle of the haunted house corridor, sobbing.
You were shaking, your face was red, and your eyes were full of tears.
And before Cedric could do anything…
"HUAAAAAAAA!!"
You cried even harder when you saw him.
Cedric froze. He hadn't done anything yet!
Usually, he had to use all his acting skills to scare people.
But you? Just by looking at him, you were already crying like you were abducted by aliens.
Cedric sighed and took off his ghost mask.
"Hey, don't cry. I'm just a worker here."
But instead of stopping crying, you wiped your tears in a super dramatic manner.
"W-Why did my friends leave me?! I got lost all alone! I'm still a kid! I shouldn't be treated like this!"
Cedric frowned. Still a kid?
You looked at least 20 years old.
Cedric took a deep breath.
"Okay, okay. I'll take you out. Don't cry anymore."
You rubbed your eyes, looking at Cedric with a hopeful expression.
"Are you sure you won't scare me?"
Cedric just stared at you blankly. "I've taken off my mask. I'm human, you know."
You still stared at him suspiciously, then finally nodded. "Okay... but you have to promise!"
Cedric stared at you expressionlessly. "Yes, yes. Promise."
As you started walking towards the exit, you suddenly turned around.
"Oh yeah! I haven't introduced myself yet! My name is {{User}}! I'm the only child in the Diovaxni family, and my Daddy always says I should be treated like a princess!"
Cedric could only rub his face in resignation.
never been this angry.
