"I certainly hope the boys don't marry someone who keeps secrets from you."

You, Emily and Penelope watched as Will's mom ripped into JJ, accusing her of hiding Will's oncologist from her. JJ had been through enough already, you could practically see her shutting down with each word Connie spoke. She was defenceless. How could she argue with a grieving mother and still keep the peace?

"I... I wasn't keeping it from you," JJ replied, her voice shaky. She couldn't believe this woman. How could she be so heartless?

"Oh, Will was? That's your defence? Blaming someone who doesn't have a voice anymore?"
