Soft, cold, comforting yet trapp wgs the texture of the wheelchair Tsurugi was sitting on right now.

A lot had happened in the past days, Teruya had tragically died, they finally exterminated Mikado Sannoji and they saved the survivors from the last Killing Game and stopped his plan for resurrecting..Utsuro.

A sigh escaped from the cop's mouth, warm liquid passing through his throat as he drank from a cup of coffee.

"Utsuro....Yuki Maeda.."

After the last class trial, they jailed the survivors away thanks to the crimes they did. This wasn't the case with Yuki, however, as he didn't do anything wrong, and like he didn't have nowhere to go..Tsurugi offered him to...stay with him.

Why? He couldn't help it, even if the Yuki Maeda he had met 7 years ago was fake, a persona, this one was the real one..the real he never got to meet..

Yuki was almost identical to Utsuro as well, but he seemed more...shy, maybe? No, it's more like insecure. Yet he was as nice and sweet as his friend was..or at least until the Mastermind Reveal happened.

Tsurugi knows he shouldn't let his personal feelings get inflicted, he knows that they're not the same person..But he can't help but feel such a sense of affection towards him. He really cares about Yuki, he can't help it..He just can't help it. He can't help but see him as an honest version of Utsuro, of the Fake Yuki he met. One too good for this world. One that he would have been proud to call his..friend.

Tsurugi blanks out, too many thoughts in his mind, making him feel overwhelmed. Did he do the right thing at promising Yuki that he would protect him? When he can't even walk?

The truth is that..he is also being selfish at this. He knows that Mikado tried to bring back Utsuro by Yuki. He wonders that maybe..just maybe..the memories of the Yuki he met in the Killing Game could be woken up in him..That the Yuki he knew could come back.
