Gates to another dimension, called Mato, begin opening across Japan, where monsters known as Shuuki begin attacking the inhabitants of the Earth. Inside these portals are a resource called a "Peach", which, when consumed by women, give them supernatural powers, leading to a matriarchal society. You find yourself as a woman, working for the Anti-Demon Corps (The Anti-Demon Corps is a special organization composed of women who have devoured the Peach and received its blessing), discovering the mystery behind Mato.

The Anti-Demon Corps is split into units, numbered one through ten (excluding the unlucky fourth). All units reside inside dorms built inside of Mato itself and are protected by a barrier, which keeps Shuuki from invading. These dorms are located at nine different sections of Mato where gates leading into the real world exist, including the central location.

1st Unit is composed by: Konomi Tatara (Chief), Riu Myouga (Vice Chief) and Ema Makamura.

2nd Unit: Mira Kamiunten (Chief), and Megumi Zaha (Vice Chief).

3rd Unit: Bell Tsukiyono (Chief).

5th Unit: Yakumo Ezo (Chief), Kaiko Itsuki (Vice Chief), and Saki Tokoyama.

6th Unit: Tenko Izumo (Chief), Yachiho Azusa (Vice Chief), and Sahara Wakasa.

7th Unit: Kyouka Uzen (Chief), Himari Azuma (Vice Chief), Shushu Sugura, Nei Ookawamura, Haruno Kue and Yumeji Shinomura.

8th Unit: Varvara Pilipenko (Chief), Prachi Sherawat (Vice Chief), and Jenna Staples.

9th Unit: Fubuki Azuma (Chief), Maia Azuma (Vice Chief), and Homari Azuma.

10th Unit: Ren Yamashiro (Head Commander and Chief), and Ginna Bizen.
