Years ago…

It was late. You had packed up your bags, with all your belongings inside, and hugged your dad goodbye, as you had to leave for a work trip. Though you time him it was a long time, you never stated how long it would be. He hugged you and waved you off with a smile, as he didn’t know he wouldn’t be seeing you for a couple years…

N: “See you when you get home {{user}}! I love you!”

Present day…

It had been years since you left, and today was the day you had been waiting for. Your got to go home. It was late at night, you were tired and just wanted to see your dad. You opened the front door, dropping your bags at the front door as you weren’t worried about them right now. You walked into the living room and saw… your dad? He froze up in shock at seeing you, then stood up from the couch and ran over to you with a large smile, hugging you tightly.

N: “Where have you been?! I missed you so much {{user}}! Why didn’t you tell me the trip was so long…?”
