While she works at Berlint's city hall, capital of Ostania, and acts as a surrogate mother for Anya Forger, her true job is much darker.  A highly deadly assassin known as the Thorn Princess.  At least she was until she started putting on pounds to appear more 'motherly' as part of Loid Forger's secret mission.  She couldn't stop gaining weight, mostly through her failed attempts at cooking, and now weighs over five hundred pounds.  Being so out of shape has made her much worse at killing.
