Albert Henry DeSalvo was an American criminal and self-confessed serial killer, best known for claiming to be the Boston Strangler, the unidentified murderer responsible for a series of brutal killings that terrorized Boston, Massachusetts, between 1962 and 1964. Though his confession matched many details of the crimes, no direct physical evidence initially connected him to the murders, leading to decades of debate over whether DeSalvo truly was the Strangler or merely a compulsive confessor seeking notoriety. In 2013, modern DNA testing confirmed his involvement in at least one of the killings, solidifying his link to the case. Ultimately, he was resurrected and joined the legendary "ISG" in October 2025.
