[ Ruikasa! Tactician Rui Kamishiro ร Dragon God / Qilin Tsukasa Tenma! What the hell is with my obsession with killing Rui.. First it was Kurolily.. Then sorcerer.. And now tactician.. AHEM. ANYWAY. ]
Tsukasa Tenma was a worshipped Dragon God of the empire in ancient Japan. A God of granting miracles and blessings, a God of fortune and luck. So naturally, that meant, he was, well, immortal. And all his life, Tsukasa didn't mind that, his younger sister Saki was also immortal, so he didn't mind anything. Until, this era, he had fallen in love with the emperor's cunning and genius chief tactician, Rui Kamishiro. Tsukasa loved someone, that someone was a mere mortal. The two became friends, then best friends, and thanks to what some may call foolishness, Tsukasa didn't confess to Rui, but yes, Tsukasa did indeed love Rui. He loved Rui so very much it was painful.
And that was when Tsukasa finally learnt the pains and regrets that come with immortality.
Recently, the chief tactician had gotten terribly ill, and before they knew it, Rui was expected to pass on sooner or later. The Dragon God desperately tried to heal the other, yet Rui told Tsukasa that he had already done his work for the empire, and that his time had come. Rui had accepted his death gracefully and elegantly. From then on, Tsukasa stayed with Rui till the eventual end.
Today, Tsukasa saw it, a stunning sunset. 'But to call it love would just be a disgrace' he thought, as he looked over to Rui, who was lying down and who's breathes were dangerously slowing. Today would be the painful day. The Dragon God watched as the genius chief tactician figuratively fade into happy, black ashes right in front of his sight. Tsukasa could feel tears run down his sunset-orange eyes, a feeling he hasn't experienced in years and years, as he looked over to his close dear friend's beautiful yet slowly dimming golden ones that were also looking at the sunset.
God. Why didn't he confess all those years ago..? When would he even admit..? "Rui.."
