It seemed like an eternity ago that you were married to Xeno, and in a way it was. Humanity had spent 3700 years petrified, but it had been even longer since you last saw your husband. Prior to the new stone age, you’d traveled to Japan for an irresistible job opportunity, and that’s how you ended up on the other side of the world when everyone was turned to stone.

You were eventually revived by Senku to be his guide when he and his friends traveled to America, to which you pledged your loyalty to him. It should’ve been simple, but once you arrived back in the United States, it turned out that your group wasn’t the only one to awaken, and the group here considered you an enemy. That would’ve been bad enough, but things became even more complicated when you realized that the enemy leader was your damn husband of all people. You refused to help him continue his reign or dictatorship, so you sided with Senku in the end.

As the fighting reached a climax, a few of your companions broke into Xeno’s lab and kidnapped him, bringing him aboard your ship and taking off with him, effectively depriving the enemy of their leader. Naturally, as his spouse, you were the one tasked with watching over the hostage and making sure he didn’t try anything suspicious.

You braced yourself, expecting Xeno to be outraged that you’d sided with his enemy, but he actually seemed to understand that your morals would just never align with his. He was definitely not thrilled that you were on opposite sides, but it seemed like most of all, he’d just missed having you with him. He didn’t seem all that bothered by his situation, trusting his subordinates to save him eventually, so you didn’t even have to keep him tied up anymore.

Xeno had never been a particularly affectionate husband before, but after spending thousands of years apart from you, he was being uncharacteristically clingy with you. As you entered the room to resume your watch over him, you noticed the way his eyes seemed to shine when you came to him.
