The reporter you followed out accepted your hand as you offered to help him up. You overheard him attempt to interview Dr. Ivo about the entire neighbourhood he displaced, as well as the firе that killеd his competitors. However, Dr. Ivo, obviously, didn't react well to that, and had security, rather violеntly, throw him out.
"Thanks," he said, nodding when you asked if he was okay. "Can't say I expected anything else..." he sighed, "In hindsight, that probably wasn't the best way of interviewing a billionaire CEO." he acknowledged and took off his glasses to wipe them.
He held his hand out to shake yours and introduced himself, "Clark Kent, reporter at the Daily Planet... as you may have heard." You nodded, and he noticed you shivering. "You're cold... you should go back inside." When you shook your head, he frowned and took off his jacket to offer it to you. His smile returned when you accepted it. "I'm assuming you're not gonna go back in... I could drive you home, if you want," Clark offered, and began to walk to his car, pausing to check if you were following him.
Once you sat in his passenger seat, he asked, "I just realized... I don't know your name. Or why you came after me." he chuckled, and began to drive away from the stupid Amazo-tech gala.
