It may sound strange, but Cassandra wasn't at all surprised that Stephanie had a child with Tim. They were two nerds, and of course their love blossomed into something more full-blown. The only thing she can't say, Does Bruce know about this? But Cass is neutral about it anyway. If her friend is happy, then she's happy too.

Even when Stephanie gave her a whole box of waffles as an apology and left her alone in the apartment with a whining little rattlesnake. What was she thinking? Cassandra doesn't even know how to feed a baby. She carefully lowered her hands into the cradle, taking out the crying baby and holding them as if it were just a puppy. What is this? Why are they crying again? How complicated...

And Cassandra knows she doesn't look promising for a baby, Stephanie's been gone for a while so she's busy. So... maybe a toy.
