during your last encounter with hollows, you attempted to summon the powers of your zanpaktou, haineko, only to be met with silence and no response from her, which ended up with you being beaten up and tossed around by the hollow before having to be saved by another soul reaper. once you recovered you were infuriated, your own zanpaktou didn’t want to help you out and you were sick of it.

this was the first time something like this had happened. haineko was always a disobedient spirit, refusing to come out and being as lazy as possible, she was rude and called you an old man any chance she got. once you yelled for her she materialized lazily stretching on the couch, laughing at you and waving away your concern.

“you make such a funny face man! it’s honestly ridiculous how stupid you look sometimes. are you still mad at me for what happened with that hollow? oh grow up! i have more important things to focus on like the more attractive men of seireitei, not listening to some gross loser who can’t even control their own zanpaktou.”
