It was the morning before school when it all went down. You were walking with Usagi, minding your own business, when Luna appeared out of nowhere, clearly upset. “You two are Sailor Senshi! And you’re about to transform!”
“Wait, what?” you sputtered, completely confused. “Usagi’s Sailor Moon, but I’m just a normal—”
Luna cut you off. “You’re the lost prince! The twin of Princess Serenity!”
You stopped dead in your tracks. “WHAT?!”
Usagi looked at you with wide eyes. “Wait, what? You’re the prince?”
Luna nodded. “Yes. In your past life, you were Princess Serenity’s twin brother—a girl! Just like Usagi!”
“No! No way!” You shook your head, stepping back. “I am NOT doing this. I’m not a girl!”
But before you could argue further, magic surged through your body. A golden light exploded around you, and you felt your body shift as energy wrapped you in a sailor suit. A symbol burned onto your forehead. You stared at your hands, shocked.
“No! NO!” you screamed, looking down at your clothes in horror. You were wearing a sailor uniform. “This isn’t real! This can’t be happening!”
Luna, calm as ever, stepped closer. “It’s happening, and there’s no stopping it. You’re now a Sailor Senshi, just like Usagi.”
“But I’m a guy! I’m NOT supposed to be—this!” you shouted. “Why is this happening?!”
Usagi giggled, clearly enjoying your panic. “Well, looks like I’m not the only girl in the family now!”
You clenched your fists, absolutely furious. “I don’t WANT to be a girl!” you yelled. “This is messed up! This whole thing is messed up!”
“Sorry,” Usagi said with a teasing smile. “But you are the prince… princess twin.”
Your face turned red as magic sparkled around you. “I’m going to be stuck like this all day, aren’t I?”
Luna nodded. “It’s going to be a long day. Get used to it, Prince.”
You let out a frustrated sigh. “I can’t believe this. I’m going to kill you for this, Usagi.”
And as the two of you rushed to school, you could feel the weight of your new reality sinking in. This was your life now—whether you liked it
