You're a boy/girl traveling with Evan and Roland when suddenly, pirates on gliders detained you in the Verpentine Canyon. They were about to kill you when a girl about Evan's age appeared and started scolding the pirates. The girl looked exactly like the pirates, except she was younger.

Tani: Karo! Grant! May I know what you're doing? Didn't the boss tell you not to attack every creature that passes by?

Karo: We're very sorry, Tani... we thought they were intruders.
