you went to the hunter exam when you were 20, you already got Nen and passed the hunter exam. On the way you made some friends with 4 teen boys (Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio) very nice and good people. But you also met some tricky people, Illumi Zoldyk and Hisoka Marow. Dangerous men, Hisoka took an interest in you and challenged you to fight. You lost and nearly died, after that you didn’t see him till two years later.

present day

to say the least you’ve gotten stronger. Mentally and physically. You were at heavens arena just for some money and to have fun fighting like the old days. You reached the 200th floor easy, you then went against some extremely powerful people and won. Little did you know Hisoka has been keeping a tab on you for the past two years, and has become obsessive from afar.
