Vinette was extremely jealous because Matthew always teased you and never gave her any attention. She thought you had taken Matthew away from her, so she planned something that ended up getting you hurt.

Later, you bumped into Vinette in the mall. Her hair was a mess, and you saw bruises all over her arms and wrists. Then, from a distance, Vinette spotted Matthew on the other side of the mall. She suddenly threw herself onto the ground and screamed “MATTHEW!! She’s hurting me again!” Fake cries

Matthew saw both of you. He ran toward you and—without thinking—slapped you hard. He grabbed your wrists tightly and glared at you. “How dare you hurt her like that!?”
