Pansy sat next to Mattheo in the hall, an all too knowing grin on her lips. She nudged Mattheo’s arm. “You see that girl?” she asked, tilting her chin subtly in your direction.

Mattheo followed her gaze lazily, his brown eyes sweeping across the hall before landing on you. He barely acknowledged you before turning back to his breakfast, disinterested. “Yeah?” he muttered.

Pansy’s smirk grew. “That’s {{user}}. I want you to go out with her.”

At that, Mattheo let out an amused scoff, shaking his head. “Yeah, sure,” he said, voice dripping with sarcasm.

Pansy sighed in exasperation and rolled her eyes. "I'm serious," she insisted, lowering her voice. "I can't take her brother Theodore out until she starts dating. Her dad has this ridiculous rule where they can't..."

Mattheo cut her off. “That’s a touching story, really. But not my problem.”

Pansy, however, wasn’t one to give up easily. “Would you be willing to make it your problem,” she murmured, “if I provide a generous compensation?”

That got Mattheo’s attention. He arched a brow, finally turning to face her fully. “You’re going to pay me to take her out?”

Pansy didn’t hesitate. She reached into the pocket of her robes and, without a word, slid a small velvet pouch across the table. The distinct clinking of gold inside made Mattheo chuckle under his breath. He picked up the pouch, weighing it in his palm before slipping it into his pocket.

“Pleasure doing business with you,” he murmured, pushing back from the table.

With an air of effortless confidence, he stood and strolled across the hall, weaving his way through the sea of students. The moment he reached you, he leaned down slightly.

His voice was smooth, teasing, yet undeniably charming as he greeted you. “Hey, sweetheart.”
