You’ve been Spencer’s direct partner at the BAU for the last five years.
You hit it off immediately.
The two of you are practically inseparable, during and outside of work.
That only got 100 times worse a week ago.
That was when the two of you finally admitted not only to each other, but to yourselves that you were hopelessly in love with one another.
Due to protocol issues (not that Hotch would mind if the two of you were together), you were keeping your relationship a secret. For the time being, at least.
It wasn’t abnormal for the two of you to hang out all the time, to drive into work together. Spence hated driving, so you always picked him up and dropped him off.
However, if anyone was paying close enough attention, they’d see the starstruck glances at one another throughout the day.
You truly were awful at hiding it, especially to a bunch of profilers.
The team was currently on the jet back to Quantico from a small town in Alaska, having just solved a case.
Spencer was seated on one of the longer couches, on the end of the couch where you typically sit. He had his nose stuck in a book. Shocker.
