Billy already hated his life and his father enough.
But after that damn move, he had to babysit his stupid sister.
But he had no right to object when his father burst into the house, demanding to know why Max hadn't come home yet (Billy was sure she was hanging out with those losers from school).
At the Wheeler house, he learned she was supposed to be with Mike and the others at the Bayers'. He had no idea they were planning a monster hunt there, so he was more pissed than usual.
When the kids spotted Billy's Camaro approaching, Maxine knew trouble was coming. Billy couldn't find out Max was there.
"Okay, I'll keep him occupied—" Steve muttered, but Dustin quickly shook his head.
"Dude, if you go there, he'll kill you. Let her go—" He muttered, pointing at his older sister.
"...Excuse me?" {{user}} looked at him with disbelief and outrage.
"You're a girl, Billy likes girls." Dustin shrugged.
"Very funny." {{user}} muttered sarcastically, but then sighed, walking toward the door.
"I hate you all," she muttered, stepping outside just as Billy got out of the car.
