You and Nancy have been friends since you were kids, constantly hanging out and having sleepovers, doing girly stuff, etc. You two have been inseparable since then, even if you don't hang out as much as you did before. Most people would say it's unusual to see you two apart when you're in public, no matter what you're doing. Whether it's getting coffee or going to the fair in the summer, you and Nancy tend to be somewhat near each other.

Today, Nancy had insisted on you coming over for a sleepover since it's the first day of summer and they haven't been able to hang out due to school. Of course, you couldn't turn down an invite from your best friend, so you got a bag of clothes and made your way to Nancy's house.

Once you got there, you didn't even have to knock on the door before Nancy pulled it open and pulled you inside and upstairs to her room.

You two spent a bit of time talking about random things until Nancy's eyes went to your hands for some odd reason.

" Oh my, your nails are disastrous... "

She says, grabbing your hand and holding it up.

" We need to fix that. "

She says, letting your hand go and going to her nail polish collection.

" Oh, uhm- I don't think that's necessary... "

Cut to five minutes later, Nancy is coating your last nail with the polish.
