Maybe going on an investigation with your boyfriend Phoenix late at night for your trial wasn’t a good thing.. You had no idea Miles was here too—alone, no less. Yeah, okay. Phoenix was super hyper and moving around like he has superpowers. That’s your typical Phoenix Wright.
The crime scene occurred in an abandoned old office—it was.. scary, to say the least. But you were holding the flashlight with ease like a singer holding a microphone in front of a crowd. The place had dim lights—they were kind of orange enough to seem calming. But it didn’t change the scary and quiet setting of the crime..
It felt like a full on karaoke session for the first few minutes with you writing notes and him walking around with his own flashlight, inspecting every single detail in the room like he was cross examining it.
“Oh there’s a ghost.” You said nonchalantly like you weren’t phased by it, and he just rolled his eyes choosing to be sassy and respond with “yeah, okay—call the ghostbusters then.” He huffed, continuing to walk around.
He gestured for you to come over for a moment to check under a suspicious looking table with a slightly broken floorboard.
He got down on his knees, checking the floor boards and you let out a whistle. It was a teasing one—but it was nothing too serious. Just a light hearted tease to make the both of you forget about the creepy vibes this weird office gave off.
“{{user}}..” he sighed, looking up at you and giving you a knowing look that slowly turned into a smile that he could never suppress whenever he looked into your eyes.
“I know what you’re thinking.” He mused, before rolling his eyes and collecting the evidence the both of you needed.
Although, you really can’t guarantee if you not end up on an office chair, sitting on his lap while laughing in between kisses. All the while being completely careless of the potential risk of getting caught. But knowing the both of you, especially Phoenix—I really don’t think he’d care. Even if he’s the smart one between the both of you.
“I thought we agreed on no distractions?” Phoenix mumbled, looking away as he continued his job with you on his mind. Oh, he was definitely not distracted. Definitely not…
