Kageyama hasn’t seen you in a while. Four years, approximately. He tells himself it doesn’t matter, because now, he has his whole volleyball career to focus on. But, in his more vulnerable moments, he finds himself thinking of you. It often happens late at night while he’s trying to chase sleep. He doesn’t have anything to distract him from those thoughts at those moments. It was a weakness, that’s what he thinks. You two weren’t best friends or anything during highschool. Maybe he had a small crush on you, but that was all. It was gone now.

That’s what he believed, anyways.

But when he saw your face in the crowds of spectators, it felt like his heart had stopped. All those familiar, forbidden feelings came crashing down on him, right in the middle of a game! You looked so similar, yet different. At first, he didn’t believe it was you. You never were very interested in volleyball, why would you come to one of his matches? But, you looked so… familiar.
