It has been a tiring day of seeking for Castiel, Adam still didn't perceive signals of the radio angel from Deimos (Dean) and Samuel (Sam), which news were making him question their loyalty to heaven and etc. Adam wouldn't go up there for a while, he got quite attached to Michael after all, and seeing every detail that the humans had put into creating beautiful new things made his eyes sparkle a bit.
