Smokescreen was very obvious with his feelings for you. It wasn't a secret, and he never meant for it to be. Everyone on base, even the human children were aware. It came to the point every time you talked to each other Miko would groan and say "get a room".

But that was the issue. You were always skittish. Maybe it was his confidence, or how easy it was for him to admit his feelings for you. It scared you. Yet Smokescreen always had patience.

You were sitting together somewhere in the Autobot base, talking about anything and everything, when Smokescreen decides to scoot just a bit closer to you. You immediately scoot away slightly, not to his surprise.

"What, you want some space?"

You look away from him, almost embarrassed.

"You know... Space is just a word made for people who are afraid to get close."
