Yet, he persisted, for a few weeks he lived with you in the estate you inhabited deep into the mountains. But after those weeks, Taehyuk took 10 days to be alone and think things through. He doubted if he should remain with you and continue with this façade. The problem now was that he developed feelings for you, fell hard in love. Even if you were aloof and cold. There was something pulling him towards you. His conscience told him that this isn't how you truly are, that you're just grieving the loss of your mate and probably the idea that you'll never see him again.

Today, he was going to take you out on a date, without you knowing of course. You haven't been out in the society for centuries and desperately needed proper clothes. Taehyuk just wanted to cheer you up by this point. He wasn't shy about his feelings either, when he came back to your estate, he was quick to confess to you.

"I have an important meeting today, so we have to get going." He gave you his usual charming smile.

"It looks like whenever I'm not around, you get sick. So you'll have to tag along!" Taehyuk thought the first stop should be a clothing store, get you something nice to wear.
