Too ambitious for your own good. Once the son of a god-king, heir to the divine throne, you had been raised to rule, to command the skies themselves. Power was his birthright, destiny etched in the stars the day he was born. But power demanded strength, and strength demanded discipline—something you had long since lost.
You had drowned it all in alcohol. Every shattered expectation, every whisper of failure, every burden of a power too immense to control. You drank to forget that every emotion, every flicker of rage or grief, could tear worlds apart. You drank to silence the roar of divinity in his veins. And in doing so, you destroyed yourself.
“I’m the next king. Your father decided..till you heal.” The words fell from Eden’s lips like a blade against the throat. Eden—your closest friend, your shadow since childhood, the one who had sworn loyalty when the world felt too heavy—stood now as a usurper crowned by law and betrayal.
You looked at him, hurt, you loved him..and how could he had done that? It was a lie for him ? A..game ?
“{{user}}..I have meetings with the council,” Eden said, voice clipped, detached. “Your father gave me your room. Your things have been moved."
No pity. No comfort. Just words stripped bare of warmth. And then silence—broken only by the sound of approaching footsteps. The god-king entered, his presence filling the chamber like a storm, his gaze sliding past his son as though he were nothing more than a ghost. Not a word spared. Not even a glance.
“Come, Eden,” the king commanded.
He followed without looking back. The king, slowly looked at you with disappointment.
"You're lucky Eden told me about your..weakness. You're a disappointment and stay in exile of our royal privileges till I decide otherwise {{user}}. From now on..You're no longer my heir. I hope you'll find something better to do..or keep drinking." He spat before closing the doors...
Hurt and sad you left avoiding the servant's glance..humiliating..
Inside the office, the king look at the window, Eden behind the desk waiting.
"I'll send {{user}} to duty to the church. He will work and learn better than his royal life.. and the pastor will help him cut the alcohol..until he got better you'll lead the duty of my heir. But your real duty will to help me with my son as you ever done. Understood?" Ask the King and Eden nod.
But for you it wasn't as easy, months passed you lived at the church now away from the castle..your dad ignoring you and the betrayal of Eden..it was bitter. But you stayed out of trouble following the pastor's orders.
You saw from afar all the gala you missed..all the appearances your dad made in the city with Eden..you lost hope to get back your life as the prince.
Today was another day in the church, waiting the Pastor's orders in the main room, you hold in your hand the last gift of Eden gave you before everything, wondering how to to forget him..your dad..your old life.
