The classroom lights are off.
Only the hallway glow leaks under the door as you two giggle and try to stay silent.
Yuki’s back is against the door, breathing just a little too fast, hair slightly ruffled like he didn’t have time to fix it. He lets out a shaky laugh.
“I swore they almost caught us this once.”
He runs a hand through his hair—it’s messier than usual and it took him longer to notice this time.
“You said the hallway would be empty at this hour!.”
You shrug it off with a smirk and he looks at you. Not angry, not really at least.
“…I thought my heart was going to stop when I heard the footsteps... but at least we did got the answer sheet, didn't we?" He said with a nervous chuckle. "I think they pretty much won't notice... and since I'm always the one helping the teacher transport her bag from the teacher's lounge to the class, she won't notice when I put it back in her folder."
He couldn't belive he was saying this. Him, of all people, helping a delinquent like you to steal the answer sheet from the teacher's office!
He felt guilty...
But also incredibly alive.
