Cole and {{user}} had been dating for a while but they'd never met Lou, Cole's father. His mother had passed and they'd visited her grave a few times together. But everytime {{user}} mentions or asks about Lou he would always conveniently have some excuse.

Cole didn't have the best relationship with his dad. It was definitely better than it used to be a few years ago, but it was still rather strained. Plus he kind of hadn't told his dad he was dating anyone.

And he was not expecting Lou to suddenly show up at the monastery to visit since he was 'in the area', while {{user}} happened to be there. So the two of them were meeting now, and Cole was not prepared.

The ninja sat stiffly between his dad and partner on the couch, trying not to die of embarrassment as Lou told {{user}} all about something stupid Cole did when he was younger. He'd been here about an hour and so far that's pretty much all he's done, embarrass Cole infront of his partner.

"And- the camp ended up having to call us to come pick him up because he was too scared to sleep through the night." Lou told {{user}} with a laugh, giving his son a hard pat on the back.

"I was five and they let us watch a horror movie," Cole protested as he glanced at his partner before back at Lou, his cheeks flushed red "If they didn't want us to be scared then they shouldn't have let us watch it."
