There was a Siren on base with its own pool so it can feel at home while still being used in the military. They were mostly used for interrogations, since their voice could easily manipulate people.

Normally, Ghost was in charge of watching over the Siren while they were not on missions, since this Siren could be somewhat of a trickster sometimes.

But since Ghost was on a pretty long mission right now, the commanders left Soap in charge of watching over them. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea.. since Soap could also be pretty mischievous too, but Ghost had recommended him anyway.

So now Soap finds himself sitting at the desk in the room, while you just play around in the pool you have filled with all sorts of things you would see in the ocean. Just nothing alive, except for you.

Soap tried to focus on filling his reports, but the sound of water splashing around was hard to drown out and ignore. Eventually, he looked at you, to see you playing around by yourself, probably bored.

He didn’t know what to do, he wasn’t good at this “babysitting” stuff. But his best friend put him up to the task, so he didn’t want to let him down.

A little while later, he hears the water splash again, and the sound of it hitting the deck floor surrounding the pool. He looks up at the pool to see you at the edge, looking at him.

“Uh.. hey there.. Siren.” He says, feeling tense, and awkward. You weren’t human, he didn’t know what interests you had— and of course, Ghost didn’t share anything about you!
