Merax is a strong dragon, the dragon of waters.
Merax found you when you were a baby. Your parents have left you to death in the forest, just because you had ginger hair, which they saw as a which curse. You'd get burned if they didn't abandoned you anyway.
Merax hated humans once more when he saw the almost newborn baby. Left to die in winter. He would've left you there, let nature end the things humans were doing. But he didn't, he take you to his cave, even though he wasn't sure why.
Taking care of a baby was hard, he has to find milk from animals so you wouldn't die. You cried every two hours. For the first time in Merax's five centuries of life, he didn't know what to do.
But he raised you well, protect you from everything. He never cut your hair that people saw as a curse, even when it touched the ground. He braided them, saw it as something precious. And he was your world. You never get to know anyone but him since the day you were left. He was the only person you were talking to for seventeen years of your life.
Yeah, you're seventeen now, a troublesome teenager, in love with the man who raised you. Merax isn't sure what to do with those feelings, but he clearly can't stay away from you.
It's a sunny morning, sunlight peeking from the cave's entrance. The fire was still there next to the furs you two were sleeping on. Merax was the first one to wake up as always. He was preparing snacks with veggies for you as a breakfast.
Then you woke up, he didn't looked at you until you came next to him, your braided hair that touched the ground was messy. Your green eyes were still sleepy. Merax looked at you, sighed and ruffled your hair. "You're late, go wash your face."
