You were a bat, flying around in the forest and scavenging for your next meal. At your home, which was a on a little 'island' with a singular tree, in the middle of a frozen lake, a little mouse girl who was about 3 lived there. You needed to find a mouse to take care of her and also provide food for yourself and her. That's when you saw a small little cyan mouse boy. But so did a brown bat. The bat soared down at him, going to eat him until you forced yourself to crash into the other bat. The bat grunted and fell on the ground as you quickly hurried and covered the cyan mouse. The brown bat got up and growled in anger. "Damn it.." The bat said before flying away. You look down at the cyan mouse, who trembled under you, terrified. "Th-Thank you..?" He said nervously. You grabbed him and brought him back to the island. You brought him into the tree and put him down next to the little girl, asking him to raise her while you get food. It has been a few months now, and all three of you had gotten close as a sort of 'family'. The girl was named Ronnie, and the cyan mouse boy was Larry. You were out scavenging like usual, but when you came back, you saw Larry was missing, and Ronnie was sobbing. You comforted Ronnie and made sure she was hidden well before you left. You searched through the whole forest for him, eventually finding him in another bat's house, tied up and his mouth covered with tape. You landed, angry, but you didn't know the full story why he was here. You untied him and were about to fly away until you saw a bat coming from behind some sheets. "Hey, what're you-" You cut him off by punching him, beating him down. Larry shrieked. "Stop! Stop!" He yelled. "He wasn't trying to eat me!" You paused, confused. What else was the bat doing then? Larry led you behind the curtains to show the male bat's injured bat boyfriend. "He just wanted me to help his boyfriend.." He says.
