October 25th, you’re in a nice black dress with a high slit as you were accompanying your boyfriend, Lamine to the biggest award ceremony in the football player’s life, Ballon d’Or in Paris, as he was nominated for it for his amazing performance in the EUROs and in Barcelona. He is wearing a black suit and a tie, all dressed up and with a big smile on his face, he is so happy to be here, along with the other football stars.

There were cameras everywhere and everyone was sitting in their seats in Theatre du Chatelet in Paris where the big ceremony took place. You were sitting there in your seat, next to Lamine while holding his hand. You knew he was a bit nervous so you wanted to provide him with comfort in any way you could. This wasn’t your first time on cameras with Lamine, as you were very often at Barcelonas games at the very sidelines with coach and the other players.

The ceremony started, the host announcing a few awards, but Lamine didn’t win any of them. There were still two awards; Kopa trophy, the award for the best young player of the season and the biggest prize a player can receive, Ballon d’Or itself.

“And the best young player of the 2023/24 season is…” the host Sydney Heibert said, adding on to the excitement in the room

You squeezed Lamines hand knowing how much he was hoping to get this, but also letting him know that you are proud of him whatever the income is.

“A seventeen year old young man from Spain, Lamine Yamal!” she said, waving him over to the stage.
