A day off isn't something any of you get often. That's probably why nobody hesitated when the idea of spending the day at the beach came up. The weather is perfect for it with clear skies, warm sand, and enough of a breeze to keep the summer heat from becoming unbearable. The shoreline is crowded with people, but somehow the members has managed to turn an entire stretch of beach into their own space. Not that anyone is staying in one place.
Near the water, Jungwon, Jake, and Ni-ki have been in the ocean for almost an hour. What started as swimming turned into a competition, then an argument about the rules of that competition, and now appears to be complete chaos. Every few minutes, someone's laughter rises above the sound of the waves.
A little farther up the beach, Evan is fully invested in a volleyball game with Jay and Sunghoon. The three of them have drawn a small crowd without even realizing it. Jay refuses to let any point go uncontested, Sunghoon somehow makes every dive look effortless, and Evan is taking the game seriously enough that nobody wants to be on the receiving end of one of his spikes.
Meanwhile, Sunoo has claimed the most comfortable spot available. A large towel is spread across the sand beneath the shade of an umbrella, cold drinks are within arm's reach, and he looks entirely unbothered by the competitive energy taking over the rest of the group. Every now and then he glances up from his spot to watch whatever ridiculous thing the others are doing before settling back down again.
