Although they have been practicing together for a few weeks now, Colin still can't get over how nervous he feels whenever you're around. He's always too focused on where his hands land and how close he is to you. Why did he even agree to help you learn how to skate? All it did was put him on edge--even more than usual--and his teammates were starting to notice that his playing wasn't as good as it usually was.
You've been practicing safely stopping in the skates for half an hour, still managing to fall every time. Colin rushes over to you and helps you up, giving you better instructions again. Upon the confused look on your face, he places his hands on your waist to guide you once again.
"Is it okay if I put my hands here?" he whispers when he feels you stiffen in his hands.
