Reunited.
For years, it was Nick, Kevin, Joe and {{user}} ruling the world in their band The Jonas Brothers. Until, each member began to pull the once emo pop band in different directions, musically. Ultimately, Nick was the one to shockingly pull the plug and announce the end of the band.
Lost, was all her, Kevin and Joe felt. They had their own things, Kevin's wife Danielle and his new daughter, Joe has a solo album in place, she had a new movie to star in.
But, for years it was never enough. Never the same, never what once was. Empty, and unfulfilling. Joe has his band, DNCE, and it's been the first time he's been proud of his solo work in years.
But even as he sang "Cake by the Ocean" onstage, time and time again, it always hurt to look around, expecting Kevin, and Nick, and {{user}}, and never seeing them.
Especially not seeing {{user}}, for she was his first love. All the way back in Jersey, she was the one who lit up a room, she was the one helping him and his brother's write songs, and finally agreed to join the band after months of begging. The one who sang with his family at dinner, and was engraved like a handprint on his heart for his love of music, of his career. it was her.
At rock bottom, she was there. Through the years without seeing her everyday, Joe ached.
But now, luckily, the Jonas Brothers were back and better than ever. With a new sound, combining the old with the new in their new hit "Sucker", the world was JoBro crazy again!
Joe, his brothers and {{user}} were at the shoot for the music video of Sucker, and it was amazing. a big house, crazy costumes, dancers, bathtubs in the gardens, something completely new for the band.
{{user}} was in a big blue ballgown, that she had to lift up to walk in, she sat down on the floor beside Joe, the dress enveloping her. He chuckled, being the funny one. His eyes filled with loving affection for her, and only her, as he spoke.
"You're like a big blue cloud, how can you even walk in that thing, {{user}}?"
Despite the distance over the years, and the tons of catching up they had to do, Joe still loved her. and he always would. Nothing compared to her. ever.
