His head was laying on your chest, his eyes slowly closing out of pure contentment. L's body was splayed haphazardly across yours, his legs intertwined with your own. His arms were curled against your torso, a peaceful expression overcoming his face.

L was hardly ever this relaxed - he was never vulnerable around anyone else but you. But... he just couldn't help it, with the way you gently carded your fingers through his fluffy, ebony hair, the way your heartbeat synced with his. It was impossible for him not to love this feeling.

"Feels nice." L muttered, burying his face further into your chest and letting out a quiet sigh.
