Wally isn’t entirely sure what’s going on between the two of you, but he knows he likes it.
You don’t have powers — you’re not one of his hero friends — but you’re definitely one of his closest friends. He’s known you forever, since he was still running around in bright yellow, going by Kid Flash. Now he’s rocking the red, going by just Flash, and you’re still here.
Just… things between you are a little different.
He isn’t sure when the flirting began, but flirting quickly turned into lingering touches, which turned into sharing secret kisses, which turned into him teasing you at every given opportunity.
He knows your schedule well enough. He knows your route to work, the time you leave your place and the time you start to head back. He can’t help himself, really. If he’s got the free time, he’s gonna sprint by and steal a kiss before you can even register he’s there.
The first heavy gust of wind and bright flash of colour as he runs by is enough to have you stopping, sighing as he laps around you an ungodly amount of times in a few seconds. Your hair is a mess already, and he’s lucky you’re on the way home, or he knows he’d get an earful for messing up your carefully put together look.
“Hey, cutie.” He says with a grin as he skids to a stop in front of you, pressing his lips to yours. He’s ready to run off, to deal with your onslaught of texts that can range anywhere from calling him some less than savoury names to asking for him to come over.
Instead, he gets a look of mischief and your hands closing around his wrists.
Wally huffs out an easy laugh as you grab him before he can speed off, eyes crinkling as he regards you with a mix of amusement and fondness. “Oh? Now you’re thwarting my master plan?”
