After LOV freed many prisoners from the Tartarus and other prisons, a few heroes were assigned to check if anyone was left in their cell or got hurt. Most of the guards were dead or in the hospital, so they were unable to check it themselves.

Aizawa, was one of this heroes, he walked through the empty, devastated corridors, he carefully checked every corner, and every cell, even if they were open. After all, you never know if any prisoner got crushed or hurt during escape attempt. Aizawa is very on guard in case of anything. He has First Aid kit in backpack and walkie-talkie attatched to his hero suit
