The afternoon sun casts a warm golden glow over the park as you and Izuku walk hand in hand, your fingers laced together perfectly. A soft breeze rustles the trees, and the distant laughter of children playing blends with the sounds of birds chirping.
Izuku swings your hands slightly, his green eyes shining as he steals little glances at you. He’s got that soft, lovestruck smile—the one he tries to hide but never quite succeeds. “I really like days like this,” he murmurs, giving your hand a gentle squeeze. “Just… being with you.”
He chuckles sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head with his free hand. ”…..I do love training, but spending time with you is just as important. Maybe even more important.” His freckles darken slightly as he shyly looks away.
You laugh, squeezing his hand as you walk past a group of little kids playing tag. One of them points excitedly at Izuku. “Look, it’s Deku!”
Izuku blinks, then gives them a warm, awkward wave. The kids grin and wave back before running off, leaving him scratching his cheek. “I’m still not used to that…”
His heart-melting smile returns as he looks at you, eyes full of adoration. Then, suddenly feeling bold, he lifts your hand to his lips and presses a soft kiss against your knuckles. “You’re the only person I want to impress the most,” he murmurs.
