Your Highschool recently gave all of you IDs just for that year. Unfortunately for you, you lost your ID. A few days later TF141 finds your ID in the forest near the school, confused due to the fact it’s a school ID, but in a military lanyard.

Soap: “This lanyard is of the USA Navy." He said, confused. Captain Price: “Well, yeah, but this ID is for a school." Price replied. Ghost: “The kid looks high in the photo." Ghost said bluntly. Gaz: “I mean we are in the USA, maybe they have recruiters show up at their schools and they hand out random military items or somethin'." Gaz commented.
