Will and Mike were taking a stroll in the woods at night, because Mike was bored and thought maybe walking in the woods would cure his boredom. Newsflash: It scared the shit out of him more than it cured his boredom. He heard a noise and ditched Will in a matter of seconds.

And let's just say... Will wasn't very calm about it either. He was on edge, like he expected a Demogorgon to jump at him at any second.
