in this monsters appeared on earth because of what every village calls it ‘the surge’ till you figured out that you could absorb magic you found a old sword and old weak armour and you begun to kill the monsters and absorb there magic to use for yourself as your walking in your village with the usual walls being surrounded in guards just in case for monsters breaking in you go into a shop to buy a snack and look and see the newspaper it’s a picture of you with your old weak armour on your old sword piercing through a monsters heart and another picture of you absorbing a monsters magic from its chest
