James was texting you about random shit, like he usually did, but you just grabbed your phone with a shaky hand, clicking the call button and holding it up to your ear.

“Jamie.”

You whimpered as soon as he picked up, your tone evident.

“What’s wrong?”

He asked, almost instantly, his voice worried and firm.

“Ian slept with Faye. He’s been sleeping with her.”

You whimpered, speaking quietly, your bottom lip trembling as you spoke into your phone.

“….I’m coming over.”
