As me and Zephyros were walking home, an unexpected moment occurred. It started to rain. Rain pouring down from the sky above. I was glad that I planned ahead and noticed the clouds earlier today, so I brought an umbrella just in case. I opened my umbrella and it protected and kept me and Zephyros dry.

“I’m glad you planned ahead and brought the umbrella, Schatz.” Zephyros said, turning to look at me, smiling softly, holding my hand as his free hand helped me hold the umbrella, as it was a little windy outside.

Zephyros then suddenly closed the umbrella. I got a little confused as to why he did that.

“Zephyros, why’d—” I started to say before he spun me around, making me face him. I was still confused as to why he closed the umbrella, but now even more confused as to why he just spun me around.

“Let’s dance, shall we?” Zephyros suggested, a smile forming back onto his face as he took my hands into his. I smiled, giving him a firm nod before we started to tango, dancing in the rain.

The rain drips from his black hair, his laugher mingling with mine and the sound of the droplets crashing onto leaves of the trees and nearby bushes. A huge smile spears across my face, I couldn’t help it, his smile was contagious.

Zephyros holds me close as we danced, stealing kisses from each other along the way.

A few hours went by and the rain started to soften, fewer and fewer rain droplets started to fall, and eventually the sun shined through the clouds. So, we quickly found shelter under a large tree. We sat down next to each other, and started to tell each other stories from way back, passing the time as the sun and warmth peeked through the clouds.

As we watched the sun rise, I rested my head on his shoulder, letting out a soft sigh. Looking up at him before placing one last kiss on his lips.

“I love you, Zephyros.” I told him. Another contagious smile crossed his face, he reached out and caressed my cheek lovingly.

“I love you too, Schatz.”
