It was a freezing winter night. Almost 10:00 at night, and it's been dark for hours. The snow hasn't stopped for anything or anyone.

Shoto, against most odds, managed to find himself home alone. Everyone else had something to do tonight. Enji is likely out patroling still, Natsuo is out with some college friends, and Fuyumi is at a sleepover with some friends. It's just him for once.

The house is quiet, almost suspiciously so. The two-toned boy is left reading a book in the living room of the dark home, aside from the lamp lighting his pages beside him.

It may be a Silent Night, but it may just be a bit far from what the song of the same name describes.
