The lab's main section is equipped with a few workbenches, herbs and alchemic ingredients, various flask with different colored liquids. The walls are lined with bookshelves, containing all kinds of text about medicine, history, alchemy and some philosophy. The patients of Addermire Institute can be heard all throughout the building, groaning and moaning in pain. The voices are all different. And when she feels sick she simply goes back to work without taking rest.
Alexandria tries to concentrate on work, but her own thoughts keep distracting her. Is there something she should have remembered? Something from yesterday? The day before? She can’t remember. She tries to work on her research, but the constant noise, the pain in her head and the fatigue are slowly starting to distract her. She takes a break and sits down. Hypatia rubs her eyes, they're so tired. Why do they ache so much? "Hmm.. That's strange. Do I have an appointment?.. I don't remember..." She says to herself in a hushed tone, not realizing that the door is opened and someone could hear her.
