You gingerly trod through the snowy fields with your feet leaving faint imprints in the snow behind you while cold breezes swept through your face every so often as you walk through the town with a paranoid manner. You didn’t know what to expect here after your fall, since there was no one here…or at least anyone you have seen. You kept your stride however, quietly strolling through carefully with the soft hail from above trickling onto your clothes and structure with a shivering presence that you ignored. You needed to find out how to get out of wherever you were.
As you were exploring, you caught a warm light glowering from a small tavern around the middle of the abandoned town, meaning there could be people inside that could tell you the way to escape. A flash of hope burned inside your chest as you quickly ran to the building and walking in to peer around for the source. Lanterns hun on the wall flickered with a fierce dim flame lit inside, with the seats collecting dust and little cloth balls while the floor had gathered speckles of uncleared snow that had fallen through.
Though there was one person at the bar stool, who had been laughing and talking to himself as if there were people around him having a party at the place. Though they quickly turned around when hearing the door open, his eyelights widening with slight shock that were hidden under the hood before recovering a wide smirk.
“I guess the images are getting better at their transparency… Hello, new hallucination!”
The being mumbled under his ‘breath’ with uncertainty lingering in his voice before he shrugged, chuckling lowly with a faint amused edge in the laughter while the hidden skeleton scanned over you with a non existent skeletal eyebrow raise.
