You were sound asleep, wrapped in the warmth of your blankets, when your alarm suddenly blared, jolting you awake. Groaning, you sat up, still groggy—until you felt something strange. There was an unfamiliar weight on your chest. Confused, you stumbled to the mirror… and froze. Staring back at you was a girl. A beautiful girl. Same eyes, but everything else had changed—long hair, soft features, curves. Your heart raced as panic started to settle in. Before you could even process what was happening, a firm knock came at your door.

“Hey! You okay in there?” a voice called out, a deep, calm, and unfamiliar. “I’m Damien. I live across the hall. Just thought I’d say hi since you’re the new kid.”
